Cardinal Crane follows OSHA and ASME regulations and requirements related to your equipment. Inspection reports are generated using computer software that are sent in an electronic format to each client. Cardinal Crane will help organize your equipment with detailed inspection reports including model/serial number, data tag pictures, and a custom asset description. A thorough inspection done by a Cardinal Crane qualified technician can be the difference between an increase or loss of production numbers. We will help you setup an inspection schedule customized to your environment and classification needs.
The service life of an overhead crane can be extended and have increased productivity with updated electronics and more modern/efficient hoists and drives.
OSHA 1910 179 B (3) Cranes may be modified and rerated provided such modifications and supporting structure are checked thoroughly for the new rated load…..The crane shall be tested in accordance with OSHA 1910.179 par (k) (2)
B30.2-2.2.2 Load Test - (a) New, reinstalled, altered, repaired and modified cranes should be load tested prior to initial use, as determined by a qualified person (b) Load testing of altered, repaired and modified cranes may be limited to the functions affected by the alteration, repair, or modification as determined by a qualified person.
Load Test shall be 100%-125% of rated load.

My name is Korbin Iserman and I started in the overhead crane industry in 2012, working for an excellent local crane company in Broomfield Colorado. I’ve worked in many positions over the years including apprentice, technician, lead technician, branch manager and now owner. I’ve worked in a variety of industries/places including oil and gas, mining, aerospace, clean rooms, military bases, steel plants, waste water facilities, cement plants, lumber yards, paper mills, vehicle manufactures, tire manufactures, air ports, weld shops, pump stations, power plants, dams etc.
Over my years in the overhead crane industry, I’ve lead crews of technicians completing large seven figure mod projects including modifications and new equipment installations.
I enjoy the overhead crane industry because I’m doing something new every day and there’s always something new to learn.
